Keynote I: When Virtual Reality Meets Education
~Making Learning REAL~
~Making Learning REAL~
Session Timing: 9:30 am - 10:00 am
Technology has revolutionized the way we learn and teach. It expands learning beyond conventional text books. Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR)-based instruction in the classroom is one such example. The immense potential of VR for supporting education under the right circumstances can be transformational. This presentation reviews the experiences of the presenter and his team in developing, using and evaluating AR/VR for teaching and learning since 2007. This session will share how one could conceptualize and deploy AR/VR in specific domain areas and contexts.
